The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 妹妹好酷，大提琴玩金属这件事就很metal啊！
鼓手打的不错，那套鼓也不错，国内奔着十万以上走吧，主唱片尾的那段solo挺好，然而除上述之外，片子不再有其它出彩的地方。音乐总体一般，完全比不了“重金属囧途”，故事很硬，还选了高中生作人物，整部片子不温不火，没多大意思，音乐也没多大意思。

电影讨论了一个严肃的政治命题，而且还是根据真实事件改编的，但我觉得这电影不行。明明是激烈的种族冲突，却要拍成一群圣人之间互相克制的交锋？何必呢…

适合安静地从头看到尾的偏严肃题材，一部劫持人质题材的影片，矛盾点围绕着Umkhonto weSizwe：民族之矛，南非秘密武装组织展开，过程有种懒驴拉磨车的感觉，比起讲故事更喜欢灌意向和种族矛盾，后半部分观感比前半部分好
剧情比预期的要太弱了 虽然也是校园乐队比赛但是输给摇滚校园 果然只是拍给青春期金属乐迷看的吧 三位主演还挺有灵性的
这位演员应该是目前南非最棒的演员，他主演《所罗门的故事Kalushi: The Story of Solomon Mahlangu》也很不错的。
