The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 和拍了几十年的傻白甜小妞电影没区别，除了女变男不催生而已……想想你亲戚不停给你保媒拉纤，让你从大城市搬回老家，你还是个感情迟钝的白甜，这剧情是不是烂俗透了。（当然网飞合家欢圣诞快餐也不想搞什么新花样，就当春晚背景音吧。）
每年圣诞节米国都会出一部这种泡沫喜剧轻松的电影。黑人小哥很养眼，在冬日的夜晚，吃着零食水果看这种电影最开心了，笑嘻嘻的
