The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情设计在一个资深CIA身上，貌似不太合常理。
开头以为是谍战片，看到最后发现原来是爱情片，整个电影以一场对话为线索贯穿始终，借用经典的插叙手法带着观众回顾事情的始末，最后虽揭露出是男主走漏了消息，但他是为了保护女主，这种情节其实还挺老套的，不过作品的整体节奏处理得还算不错，稍微耐心点还是可以坚持看完的
