不过以chapter的形式来叙事感觉有点偷懒，削弱了旅程和故事的连贯性，导致有几段游戏感很强烈，可能也是骑士故事中难以忽略掉巫术这个要素，会有点出戏。

对于故事背景不熟悉的观众来说看这部片子真的很莫明，这条成长之路描写的如此晦涩，我还专门去查了一下骑士精神，也真是太不友好了……

画面和构图是真美，可惜剧情也是真无聊。大概只有对中世纪传说有特别喜好和研究的人才会觉得有趣吧。
真传说故事，高文爵士的试验之旅，画面优美，情节隐晦，相比起传说本体，电影进行了根本性的改编。
二刷， 觉得值得5分。电影的改编让故事更合理
原版诗歌高文近乎完美无瑕的完成了试炼，电影改版注入了很多人性的东西，吝啬算计胆怯背叛淫欲几乎就是骑士美德的反面，高文最后几分钟闪过一生后，摘下腰带从容赴死，才是真正完成了试炼。拍摄手法很高级，内核也不差，考虑文化背景差异，这片子评价不好非常正常
有几个瞬间，感觉差点就要爱起了，但最后二十分钟怎么回事啊？！（两星还是三星？）
音乐和镜头都很有吸引力，用影像的语言呈现了值得回味的寓言故事。但另一方面奇幻场景比较保守，没有什么爽点。
3.5/5 又是一部非常A24的作品
你不得不承认，看似愚钝顽固的骑士精神是自然演化的产物，也就是在上帝眷顾的某个社群，遵守诺言总是比不遵守的人活得更长。这一事实不需要再去论证，只需要用华美的词藻和广漠的镜头形容一遍就可以了。
真的有必要拍成这样一部长片吗？国王把高文叫出来真的不是坑他吗？光影布景都赞，我懂，要说守信勇敢，我也懂，但是故事真的太简单啦，还有许多细节，可能是知识匮乏，也可能是文化代沟，完全get不到电影灵魂。
应该是目前看过A24片里，感觉最莫名其妙的片了。
道理都懂，但是导演请去隔壁《故事的故事》片场学习一下再来，极品硬件配置配上垃圾讲故事能力串烧，可惜了
