The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 後面，高司令和安娜跟一個特工肉搏，沒想到兩人都被揍了，還追逐失敗，被人搶走了東西。安娜和高司令高潮戲時，直接殺向敵人大本營，各種槍掃一片，高司令還孤身一人救小女孩，各種開掛打鬥更是很像《長津湖》低配版。
相比起俗套的剧情和人物设定，那些莫名其妙的无人机航拍镜头更让我抓狂
有一众明星，但平庸到令人发指，罗素兄弟是不是也就这点本事了。
为什么要浪费这么宝贵的大周末看这么一部垃圾？也许实在是很久没看到bongbongbong了，但是下次请送一部好看的来。★★☆
从头打到尾，电影的色调调得太灰暗，已至于好多地方都看不清楚了。如果不刻意设定成为了救小女孩，似乎故事还更打动人些。
无聊到睡着。整体太像游戏，今年的美术风格是全都赛博朋克化了吗……
超出我预料，比红色通缉令好太多了。就冲开头曼谷“炸裂”的画面色彩、高司令空中肉搏降落土耳其+铲平布拉格这三段，没有功劳也有苦劳，拿个今年最有诚意动作片总行吧（虽然没有这奖项）。P.S. 说实在的我也是第一次见人在爆竹中打架还打得这么唯美的。开头霓虹色彩+亚洲氛围一出，恍惚间差点以为这是007皇家赌场澳门取景地or天幕杀机里的我大魔都。Anyway不管哪方面这部都吊打红通，作为这种大投资商业片，不用拿到古今中外历史长河去比，跟自己比就行了。要啥自行车。

有点浪费这个阵容。。。纯纯商业版谍影重重，但还是差的比较远了。。。我桃的反派好烦人好幼稚。。。女主戏份感觉是硬加的，这个角色的行为就不太合理。有几场戏拆开还行...
哈哈，完全是一部超英片！除了一些逻辑硬伤，整体节奏非常好，破坏大战酣畅淋漓！小女孩太漂亮了，城堡之战高司令有股敢死队史泰龙的影子，整体很精彩，够格爆米花爽片

逐渐理解大数据电影了，毕竟累了一天了，看看帅哥美女，飞车爆炸确实挺解压。在只想寻求放松的状态下和带着挑剔眼光看电影看到的东西是不一样的。虽然罗素兄弟这调度水平和讲故事能力比美队三下降了不止一星半点，但是给我放松已经足够。
