The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 没什么特色的文艺片 清高不活在世俗规则里的无法成长的脆弱男主 永远不开口解释
真不错的网络电影，能自圆其说的把故事讲完。人心难测，好恩无好报。
国产恐怖片不管在院线还是网络应为都不能有妖魔鬼怪存在所以只能想着法子用其他故事手段来沾点边。本片故事虽然于标题关系不大但情节环环相扣，三个故事竟然巧妙圆在了一起，颇有点罗生门的感觉，这质量放在网络大电影里已经算是非常高的水准了。
不过罗生门式的结构，而且每个版本的故事都讲的好吸引人，而且各个故事虽然讲的都是同一件事，虽然是不同角度不同立场，却并不重复，因为每个人讲述的都是不同阶段。
看完隔壁《边缘行者》，直接怒打四星。
剧本确实有罗生门和八恶人的影子，作为网大质量算不错了，缺点是五毛钱特效+一些角色演技太尬，3.5
我庆幸作为一部网络大电影能做到如此用心和出彩，我哀叹如此用心的电影却只能是一部网络电影。是不是认为我接下来会抨击电影制度？
虽然明知道不可能有怪力乱神，最后肯定能绕到正常里去，总体来说还可以，就是那帮工的设计的差事儿，大锄头居然砸不死人，折了以后打人屁股，这样的操作确实活不起！恐怖版《失信的村庄》！
就想起来一句影视评论人毛尖在毒叔脱口秀讲过，“中国电影走过一百多年，左翼电影千辛万苦把清白的良心还给了底层，然后一百年不到，我们的影视作品又把心机和穷人、天真和富人进行了连接”。
哈哈哈，还行吧，当听个故事了，氛围大于实际。
狐仙烟魂、魑魅魍魉只是借古讽今的春秋笔法，险恶、嫉妒、扭曲的人心才是这个世界上真实而黑暗的恐惧。雨夜破庙里的乡野怪谈，讲述者是一群心怀鬼胎的赶路人，如同芥川龙之介小说《莽丛中》一样，身怀罪恶且有所隐瞒的众人拼凑出一个残酷事实：“杀人放火金腰带，修桥铺路无尸骸”。不过在这片土地上，这种事也并不稀奇。
剧本有些意思，但制作没宣传的这么好，情节的展开和叙事都存在问题。
除了特效很差外，故事性还不错，比一般的院线电影要强。
虽然我是冲着别人剪辑的妖魔片段来的，这部分很失望，但是编剧关于善与恶的延续解读还是挺新颖的。
还比较惊喜的一部网大吧，故事架构不错，有始有终，就是最后反转结局太有功夫的意味了，难免老套，全剧最清醒是大眼，如果一开始第一重结局编成划船的是掉落悬崖流落街头的养子可能更合理一点。PS:男主有点点眼熟。
更纱和阿文互相救赎互相治愈的关系真好，可是一直被世人所误解，所幸结局还算可以。丝宝成熟了，演技也更沉稳了，几个镜头也好美。
除了剧本还行以外，最大的优点就是全员演技在线，相较于大部分三流网大来说，演员演技不出戏尴尬已是最大的难得。穷乡僻壤出刁民，连路人村民都演出了那股子让人恨得牙痒痒的愚昧恶毒劲。
偶尔从哪看到说模仿了《罗生门》的故事，有兴趣找来看，没想到超出了预期，故事情节、烘托的氛围、对人性的批判都有眼有板，群众演员也很融合，导演是用了心的，节奏紧凑，引人入胜，片尾的彩蛋让影片有了回味。不错。支持一下。
网大中的精品悬疑片，反转反转再反转，演员演得不错~
进步明显的网大。在国产片里，是少有的剧情环环相扣，让人等不及看下一段的电影。很好的借鉴了罗生门的剧本，几个故事恐怖气氛也足，最后又达成了巧妙的统一
