The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 感人的是故事本身，电影大概就是一无是处，和抗疫相关的电影纪录片已经拍了多少了，就没有一部对得起这件事的，医生角度，志愿者角度，千篇一律可以煽情渲染伟大和牺牲，真是够了，这届文艺创作者到底行不行啊，我们经历了这么值得纪念的事，就没有一部影视剧可以再十年或者更久之后让我们回忆经历的这一切吗，真服了，气！
没有重点写医护人员，反映的是不同社会阶层的人们在抗疫时期的反应。
开头看得还挺有压迫感的，中间有一些地方还是挺感人的，希望疫情能快点彻底结束吧！
黄渤这段，就是觉得这种人肯定有，但是没啥共情感，对于我来说，家庭肯定是第一位。
还是有感动人的地方 但是前面让人有点如坐针毡 没有情节太平淡
太过稀碎就是这类抗疫电影的通病，想要在两个钟的电影里展现尽量多的典型，但到最后发现没有一个可以讲得好的，电影本身就值两星，额外一星是给片中那些真实片段的，算是纪念那一段大家共同度过的特别日子。
周冬雨越来越漂亮了，演技也越来越好了，真心喜欢她演的护士
虽然已经在疫情里两年了，但是开场的几分钟看了还是特别的难受，止不住的想要哭。
快结束的时候我前排有个人看了眼手机，是21点10分，从这个时候开始连续be，be到21点30分电影放完，就是强行煽情大过年的给你喂玻璃渣的感觉。。。另：老年cp那对的结局说实话我是不太相信的😅
在上海疫情发生的现在看，这样一部讲述2020年武汉疫情的故事，还挺有感触。在大难之下，人与人之间真挚的友情。你才能看清谁是你真正的朋友。有些人萍水相逢，你甚至都不知道他叫什么名字，却给你最大的帮助和温暖。这不才是这个社会运作的原动力吗？

两星都给画面美感上，剧情太差，就不能找个好编剧，这么好的题材，疫情环境下催生那么多感人故事，拍的像个流水账
6.2分 是一部以疫情为背景的暖心向电影，不是部分影迷想要的那种深刻的、纪录片式的疫情电影。不要对我们根本拍不出来的电影有期待。｜从暖心向电影而言，相比一些电影已经算是没有特别明显的大尬点了，但小尬点和令人不舒服的点还是有。｜最喜欢奶奶。贾玲面对朱一龙的各种小娇羞，因为她真的喜欢朱一龙而显得格外真实，哈哈哈哈哈。朱一龙真是适合演白月光啊。那么温柔又有情调的男人只有梦里才有，只有他才配演。他演的叶老师让人感觉很舒服，似乎世界上真的存在叶老师这个人。（只不过后面影片对叶老师捐献器官的剧情的表达方式处理的不好，这是导演的问题，演员已经没有戏份了。）黄渤不容易，如果不是他演，这部分的戏可能会更难看。徐帆和高亚麟这么好的演员实在是被灾难般的剧情给浪费了。王骁，可惜这部戏没有给他表演空间。｜别的不说了。

咱就是说，这么好的题材拍了个稀巴烂，我随便看个疫情短视频都能泪流满面的人，这玩意我真的掉不出眼泪。四个故事令我最无语的就是徐帆和高亚麟那个，啥玩意啊强行煽情，尴尬出天际。最后贾玲和朱一龙也没成，何必呢。可能最感人的就是老夫妻的爱情吧，老太太活了还算欣慰。晓晓那段感觉属实也挺多余，但是最后那个遗照我是没想到，还是有点冲击力。黄渤演技还是在线的但是里面有些台词真的太刻意了。
作为武汉疫情中的一员，还是能共情的，尤其是周冬雨的那段，我哭了。
导演煽情讲故事不太行，拍纪录片还可以，中间只是叙事的幻灯片似的那一部，哭傻了…P.S.我龙哥最后居然变成阳光下的泡沫了吗T.T
即使是将经历过的拍出来就已经很感人了，没想到，二年多了，还在持续中。
