The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很美式的八卦電影，歌也很一般，不如A star is born.

对标去年Kristen最终只在Hulu亮相的《最幸福的季节》以及Hallmark Channel从前两年开始邀请Jonathan Bennett等人试验性的出现，“工业糖精”式的圣诞电影果然也要把每个群体一网打尽。从《丑女贝蒂》开始，就殷切期盼Michael Urie小可爱有大作为、有单人发光的作品…如今他都40岁了（雪地里笑起来都有皱纹TAT…），也总算等到了；但愿这不是终点，也要打破每个屏障。【不过最惊喜的选角当属《富家穷路》“Jocelyn”Jennifer Robertson！】

画面很漂亮，配乐很好听，女主是以前很喜欢的演员。

非常俗套的剧情，情节漏洞百出，但是看完心情大好。就像童话故事一样，你虽然知道这不是真的，但也不妨碍你期待它成真。
比想象中好看，新瓶装旧酒版人鬼情未了，大概因为女主是搞摄影的，影片的影像风格也比较有质感，迷影元素的加入很讨喜，以及处处可见的细节呼应，女主的好朋友性格也很可爱，本片能在网飞霸榜不是没有理由的
