The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 看的時候覺得似乎性別倒錯了 但伊藤沙莉格外適合 18年的冰淇凌與雨聲非常驚艷 但到今天我和過去之間 也只剩下稍微想起一些。
偶然相遇 在一起后分开。再次碰巧遇见 稍微想起一些过往。那天好像有些特别 但其实没什么不一样。
其實更像是《十二夜》的變奏，但這兩位的戀愛週期拉長了好多。
还有那种内心深处的落寞
很好松居大悟你挽回我了。一上来车内外空间的利用和声音处理就不错，街景拍的有几分贾木许的神韵。剧本简单也扎实，拍出了不少可爱的日常（浇完花再浇浇自己，每天朝着路边的神明拜拜）。超级喜欢出租车确认心意的那场戏，车内到车外，自动车门、灯光和城市风景，调度拉满，还有些幽默在里面。
后劲大到看完出来，去厕所回想起还在哭……虽然水族馆/烟花/表白的典型日系元素有够俗套，但放在平淡的日常里就足够美好了不是吗。二刷才发现很多的小细节（又泪目了），女主真的好可爱。
感觉还行吧，拍的是关于恋爱的故事，在加一点青春校园剧结合拍出来就更好了，这就有那种从校园婚纱的感觉了。

从开始时间一层一层的倒退叙事的方式颇有新意 讲的不过是一个普通的恋爱故事 多一星是给男女主角的演技和台词 值得花两个小时慢慢看完
剧透：蔡依林的歌，结构有效，卡司浪费，比较无聊，半点叹息没有，只想赶紧完了算了
アップリンク吉祥寺 ほろ苦いラブストーリー。被刺痛的人真的会很痛、像是那种后劲很大的中药、慢慢的苦味泛上来、不知不觉地就叫人淌下泪来。私心借这部电影告别自己的高円寺ラブストーリー、特地选了平日的晚场。电影最后十分钟、发现坐旁边同样一人来看深夜场的姐姐哭的更惨。
太好看了，这种剪辑，这种叙事，没想到花束这种电影之后又开启了一片天，哈哈，谈恋爱干嘛要在一起啊，就是用来回忆的啊～～～～真好～好爱女主😋
忽然想起一些，在突然某个转身，在看这部电影的时候
女主声音太出戏了。近年来同题材电影还是最喜欢行定勋的《剧场》。主题曲确实很赞。
看毕#花束般的恋爱 一年后；
叶跟着乘客下车，突然被不知从何处传来的踏步声吸引，叶不知不觉走到声音的源头，竟看见正在台上起舞的照生。 时间年复一年倒退，电影刻画照生和叶的爱情起点及相遇一刻，与两人一起
另外，相比之下村上对女性司机的刻画太自以为是
非常喜欢，妹妹真可爱，各年龄段都很到位，一张娃娃脸把微妙的其实很难体现的年龄差别全表现出来就真的厉害，想采访下她哥看到前辈泡他妹是啥感受😂叙事手法也到位，一刀又一刀，但都是温柔的刀，很扎实很难得了
真的好喜欢这种近乎白描的拍法，不需要啥精巧的剪辑和抓马的剧情，主角一开口，画面里的每个细节都仿佛在跟着主角一同诉说，熠熠生辉。跟着主角一起将记忆碎片一同拾起拼凑的观感确实跟花束般的恋爱很不一样，今年十佳
倒叙手法，用时钟串联起所有的故事。
