The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 没有养分生涩的纯傻恋片。男主帅以外，没有任何看点。
所有小鸡电影桥段生拉到一起，情感逻辑都有点不通，为发糖而发糖。现在小鸡电影剧本都这么不走心吗？
魔鬼经常欺骗人，但人也可以欺骗魔鬼，只不过人一旦死亡，就无法再做任何活动。（再次吐槽，所罗门七十二魔神可以拍个遍了）
其实电影剧情向而言我很喜欢 有别于其他 可是所有的情节和驱魔都太无趣了 让人疯狂走神
挺无聊的电影，本身西方的所谓驱魔就没什么看头，故事剧情一点都没吸引力，最关键的是一点都不恐怖，大晚上把我看困了好几次……

讲真，比特么招魂3好看多了，最起码前半部分算个精彩的驱魔片，反向驱魔的设定可以更精彩的，可惜拍成了比谁嗓门大！
但，大家换个这里的环境，再细细品品。其中的指代，很有意思。
牛逼在意想不到的概念上，框架烂了点，题材牛逼，反向驱魔肺活量大师，讽刺得好。
典型的美式小妞电影，这类电影的作用就是开心和放松，从帅哥美女办公室恋情营造轻松欢乐的氛围。从争夺同一晋升岗位的竞争对手，到互相契合的情人，从十级防备全副武装到放下戒心互诉衷情，演练着略带浮夸的生活日常，平凡的小欢喜也不过如此吧。
地狱空荡荡，恶魔在人间？中间有一部分挺想睡觉的
女主扯下男主的浴巾之后“哇哦”，真是幸福呢。
有点意思，上帝与恶魔不同方式的斗争。虽然部分剧情有点蠢
本来就很犹豫看不看驱魔的 这部看完后又对驱魔片的反感加了浓墨重彩的一笔…有一定的新意 都在后面 前面充斥各种老套的喊叫 就感觉谁的声音大谁就能干过对方一样 这个神父也真是弱的可以 …对于国外邪教的 驱魔的我好像一直没对胃口 这部耶稣与恶魔的错综复杂我没太懂 也懒得懂了
不功不过的浪漫爱情喜剧片，两个看起来相互憎恨彼此的男女主，结果早就对对方芳心暗许，老套的剧情，可我就是喜欢这么别扭又口是心非的哈哈。两个人剧情进展太奇怪了，感觉中间有些不必要的波折，比如女主误会男主在骗他，而面对两人共同的竞争，男主另谋高就直接退出的处理方式也让我不太喜欢，看起来就像拱手相让一样，并不尊重女主的做法。电影好在两个人的化学反应真的很好，恨的时候有恨的那股劲，爱的时候也欲罢不能，好评。
恶魔驱神，听上去挺有意思，但拍出来却差强人意，只是把一个老派且过时的内容颠倒了一下主被动，最后结局也不过是老生常谈。在宗教驱魔已经不吃香，甚至“坏神父”都已经过时的时代，还在披着传教外衣偷偷摸摸黑宗教，这反应是不是有点太慢了。。。。人家十多年前讲的笑话他今天才哈哈哈，说我也讲个类似的，结果还不好笑。
职场浪漫爱情喜剧，两个人互相斗气的时候真的十分小学生，选角太好了，两个人真的化学反应满满的，一个强迫症一个随性还蛮有趣的，不用动脑子随便看看确实挺好的，剧情一般，1星给选角。
合理解释教会里性侵幼童等各种邪恶事件的缘由。
真的是没有逻辑可言，除了一些比较新颖的恐怖设计感觉没啥亮点
