The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 8.5/10 2021年看过最好的美国电影，甚至不用加之一，是血统纯正的美国片。保罗施拉德让人敬佩，重复的拍着同一种电影、写着同一类主人公。依然是机械学的，单管镜的，心理现实主义，剧作无懈可击，导演异常沉稳，无误的精确度与恰当的适配性，几乎抹去了调度上本应揭示的若干导演意图性，控制力被隐去，用最小主义的调度，排除任何拟情或共情的可能。片尾主人公同样迎来了自己的恩宠时刻，一如American Gigolo和Light Sleeper那样 (即使追根溯源这来自布列松的启示)。虽早已不是第一次看施拉德的电影，但每当看他的新片时还是会叹服这般作者意志。
呼吸部分跟冥想相关，这一部分比较吸引人。但是关于救赎，电影表达的差劲。
前期节奏挺好的，后期开始崩坏，美国的date文化让人有点不解，哈哈看看就好
影片讲述了一起工作的两个人之间的欢喜故事。起初，两个人都厌恶着对方，在工作中视彼此为对手，成为自己工作中的动力。但电梯中的偶然一吻，使两个人之间暗生情愫，他们之间的关系也就随之发生了变化。

男女主之间的火花绝了，好久没看到这么标准苏的男主了哈哈哈哈哈哈哈甜得我哇哇叫。但是剧情上短板很明显，婚礼那段很仓促，人物描写也很潦草，配角都是工具人。
《出租车司机》的编剧又讲了一个大差不差的故事，好久没有看过像这片一样感到震撼的结尾了
男主身材长相看似无可挑剔，且长得有点像那谁。女主的亮点好像只有眼部，毕竟不论明星与否，女同胞们涂了口红都很性感呀，不是吗？
